YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING AND POLICIES
The Boy Scouts of America places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. To maintain such an environment, the BSA developed numerous procedural and leadership selection policies and provides parents and leaders with resources for the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing programs. GET YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINED
All registered adult members of the Boy Scouts of America must be current in Youth Protection Training.
1. Go to www.my.scouting.org and create an account.
2. From www.my.scouting.org , click on E-Learning and take Youth Protection training.
3. Upon completion, print a certificate of completion and keep with your records. .
4. Enter your BSA membership ID number into My Scouting to link your Youth Protection training records and any other training to your membership record. To do this, log into My. Scouting, click on My Profile and update the system by entering your member ID number. (note: you will receive your membership id number after you have become a registered member of the BSA)
